The predominant method of waste disposal in Qatar is by landfilling which is not a practical solution due to limited availability and environmental concerns.While steps are being taken to handle waste generated in future, the Government should focus on creating mass awareness about 4Rs of waste management viz. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recovery.
