In the global effort to fight climate change, war zones face a massive problem. Countries like Iraq, Syria, and Yemen suffer from extreme heat, dry weather, and shrinking water supplies. Yet, they receive very little financial help. Standard green finance systems require stable governments, safe conditions, and clear profits to work. During a war, those conditions do not exist.
